What is GOEZ?

GOEZ is a free motorcycle ride tracker app for iPhone and Android. It records your rides with GPS — even offline and with the screen off — then shows distance, moving time, speed, corner count and an estimated lean angle. You can share each ride as a story, find twisty routes, ride with groups and events, and use Ride Buddy and SOS for free.

Good to know: GOEZ doesn't detect crashes and never sends messages for you. You start SOS, and you tap Send. It helps — it doesn't replace your helmet, your gear or your judgment.

Questions, answered.

Does it record with my phone in my pocket?

Yes. Recording runs in the background with the screen off. Allow location access "Always" so GOEZ can keep recording when the app isn't on screen.

What happens when I lose signal?

Nothing is lost. Your ride is saved on your phone first and syncs when you're back online. If the app closes mid-ride, you can pick up where you left off.

How is lean angle measured?

It's an estimate calculated from GPS speed and how fast your heading changes — not a sensor on the bike. Slow moments are ignored and spikes are filtered out. Great for comparing your own rides, not a measuring instrument. Learn more

Does GOEZ detect crashes?

No. You start SOS yourself: hold the button, wait for the countdown, and your messaging app opens with your emergency contacts and location link ready. You tap Send.

Who can see my rides?

You choose for every ride: everyone, followers, or only you. You can also make your account private and approve followers yourself.

Is GOEZ free?

Yes. Recording, core stats, community and every safety feature are free. GOEZ PRO adds lean angle, unlimited bikes, groups and events, and all share templates.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. Delete single rides or your whole account in the app. Your account is deactivated right away and permanently deleted after 30 days.
