GOEZGOEZ — Community Guidelines

These guidelines are the basis for our moderation decisions. Removing content without first saying what isn't allowed would be arbitrary.
GOEZ is a place where people who love to ride find each other. To keep it that way, we have a few clear rules. We remove content that breaks them, and we suspend or close the accounts responsible.
Zero tolerance
GOEZ has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Content that breaks these guidelines is removed, and the account that posted it may be suspended or permanently terminated. We review every report within 24 hours.
Don't
No harassment or hate. Insults, humiliation, persistent unwanted contact; targeting anyone based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age.
Don't glorify dangerous riding. Content that promotes or brags about street racing, running red lights, riding against traffic or riding without a helmet. Content filmed on a closed track is fine — as long as it's clear that it's a track.
Don't share sexual content or violence. Obscene images, footage of real violence, or sharing crash footage for shock value.
Don't expose other people's information. Sharing someone's address, phone number, license plate, workplace or similar details without their consent. Posting photos of other people without their permission.
Don't pretend to be someone else. Using another person's name, photo or identity. Passing off someone else's content as your own.
Don't spam. Repetitive posts, irrelevant links, mass following or messaging, inflating engagement with fake accounts, unauthorized advertising.
Don't spread false information. Knowingly false information about routes, events or ride data; fake emergency alerts.
Minimum age
GOEZ is for people aged 16 and over. We close accounts that appear to belong to someone younger.
If you see something: report and block
Every post, comment, message, profile, group and event has a Report option:
- Messages: long-press the message.
- Posts, comments, profiles, groups and events: tap the "…" menu.
Reports come straight to us and we review them within 24 hours.
If you don't want to see someone, Block them from their profile or from the "…" menu — you won't see each other's posts or profiles and can't message each other. You can see and undo blocks under Settings → Blocked accounts.
If there's an immediate danger — self-harm, a specific threat against someone, or a child safety issue — say so in your report. We review these reports first. If someone's life is in danger, call your local emergency number first (for example, 911 in the United States or 112 in Europe and Turkey).
What we do
Objectionable content is always removed. In addition:

| Repeated or serious violation | Account is temporarily suspended |
| Harassment, child safety, identity theft | Account is permanently terminated |
Creating a new account to get around a suspension or termination is not allowed. If you think a decision was wrong, write to team@goezapp.com and we'll take another look.
Safety features are always free
The ride buddy and emergency features will never be put behind a paywall. That's a promise.
